Ballymena Chamber Charity Golf Day Raises £16,000 for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice

Ballymena Chamber of Commerce and Industry enjoyed another fantastic Charity Golf Day to support Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice at Galgorm Castle Golf Club, with an impressive 88 golfers taking part, making this not only a great event but the Chamber’s largest Golf Day to date.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ross Oliver and the entire team at Galgorm Castle Golf Club and Castle Kitchen + Bar for their excellent hospitality, professionalism, and support in helping to deliver such a successful event.

A special word of appreciation must also go to Kathleen Anderson and the dedicated volunteers from the Ballymena Hospice Support Group, who worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure golfers were well looked after with scorecards and goody bags, while also raising additional funds through their popular charity raffle.

We are delighted to announce that this year’s event raised over £16,000, bringing the total amount raised over the past six years to more than £118,000 in support of Northern Ireland Hospice and Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Congratulations to Cranswick Country Foods, whose team won the prestigious Ballymena Chamber Wallace Enterprises Perpetual Four Ball Trophy. It was wonderful to welcome Patricia Wallace, Christopher Wallace and Sarah Wallace, who joined us for the evening meal and presented the trophy to the winning team.
