During a recent launch event which was hosted in their head office in County Antrim, the company welcomed TinyLife as their new Charity of the Year. Speaking at the launch of the partnership, Mark Wiggins, Business Development and Marketing Manager commented: “We are thrilled to announce Tinylife as our new Charity partner for 2016/2017. Having provided support to many local charities over the years this is the first time we have decided to partner with a local charity over aone-year period. We have set ourselves a target to raise £10,000 and we feel thatalong with the support of our tenacious team this will be easily achieved”.

Eugene Clarke, Managing Director at Clarke Facades highlighted that Tinylife was an overwhelmingly popular choice amongst the company: “We were shocked to hear that in Northern Ireland over 1800 babies are born too soon and on average there are 2 still births every week. TinyLife, who are Northern Ireland’s only premature and vulnerable baby charity, provide a crucial service in supporting local families. We feel that this is a fantastic charity doing exceptional work for families across Northern Ireland and we are very excited about helping the charity raise funds”.

Valerie Cromie, Regional Fundraising Manager for Tinylife commented: “TinyLife is a small local charity offering emotional and practical support to the families of premature and sick babies. Every day in Northern Ireland 6 babies are born too soon, some arriving as early as 24 weeks and weighing as little as 1lb, we are absolutely delighted to be working with the staff from Clarke Facades. TinyLife works with all seven neonatal units around Northern Ireland and we support many families across the province. The money raised through this partnership will be used to continue to deliver our Family Support Services locally.”

Already an exciting calendar of high adrenaline and fun events have been planned over the next 12 months in an effort to raise the target funds for the charity. The Clarke Facades team will be kick-starting their fundraising activities next month with a team of avid runners participating in Tinylife’ s 10k walking challenge. If you wish to keep up to date with the company and their fundraising efforts throughout the year, then make sure to follow them on social media.
