Award Winning Moore Concrete

Moore Concrete has been at the very heart of the business community in the Ballymena area for over three decades.

The company, which employs 85 people, manufactures a range of high quality precast products for both the home and export markets. Meeting the needs and expectations of customers in full has been the guiding principle which has helped secure the tremendous growth secured by Moore Concrete since its inception. This commitment can be best summed up in the phrase: ‘A Precast Quality Service’.

Supplying the precast concrete needs of farmers throughout the UK and Ireland has been at the very heart of the Moore Concrete business model from day one. In fact, the company’s managing director – Wilbert Moore – started the business by manufacturing single slats – by hand – in premises owned by his father. Today the company supplies the entire range of precast products required by the farming sector, from cattle slats, through to wall panels, drinkers and cubicle systems. Moore Concrete supplies a range of high quality, bespoke products to the civil engineering and construction industries throughout the UK. These sectors now account for around 40% of the company’s total output.

Moore Concrete has been exhibiting at Balmoral Show for over a decade. During this period, the company’s stand has often won awards with 2013 being no different in this regard. Last month saw the Moore Concrete team pick up the award for the Best Non Food Trading stand at Northern Ireland’s premier agricultural event.
