Businessman Ian Aiken has launched TaxAssist Accountants, offering a dedicated service to support tax payers, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in Ballymena and the surrounding area. Ian has many years’ experience in charge of the financial affairs of several different Northern Ireland businesses, working closely with the banks and Invest NI to agree finance and grant aid for expansion plans.

After speaking to businesses in the area, Ian realised that there was a need for a service specifically tailored to small and medium sized businesses, to guide new start-ups and provide ongoing support and financial advice to existing businesses. He commented: “I have lived in the local area for about 25 years and recognized that there was a definite niche to be filled in the area. I have had a very positive response from the local business community so far and look forward to using my experience to help small local businesses maximise their financial potential.”

The practice will specialise in providing accountancy services, tax returns, payroll, bookkeeping, business plans, cash flows, tax savings and tax advice to businesses across Ballymena and the surrounding area.
